Banana Bread
3/4 cup Sugar, ¼ cup softened Butter or Margarine, 1 Eggs, 3/4 cups mashed ripe Bananas, ¼ cup Water, ½ teaspoon Vanilla, 1 ¼ cups all-purpose Flour, 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda, ½ cup chopped Nuts or ¼ heaping cups each of Nuts and Chocolate Chips,
Directions
Mash 3 ripe bananas with 2 teaspoons of lemon juice to prevent bananas from darkening. You can use overly ripe bananas as well my Mom always does.
Mix all the above ingredients then pour into a greased and floured loaf pan or round cake pan.
Double the ingredients for two loaves of banana bread.
